You probably have countless transferable skills, interests or ideas that you could use to help keep the hall as the amazing community asset that it is. If you have a little time that you could spare us, either regularly, occasionally or just as a one off we welcome you getting in touch.
You Can Make a Difference
Are you a whizz at putting together grant applications? Do you like organising events or do you raise money by competing in sporting events? Do you have fundraising experience or would you just like to give it a try? Hampton Hall does not run for profit, it is vital that it remains affordable for everyone to use and so it relies on donations, grants and fundraising to pay for maintaining and updating the buildings and grounds. If you think this is something you could help with please get in touch.
The hall committee is a small friendly group that meets 3 times a year to oversee everything to do with keeping the hall running and to make future plans for both its upkeep and its finances. The committee is made up of volunteer representatives from Hampton Girlguiding, Hampton Scouting and local residents from the Little Hampton and Great Hampton areas. The committee would love to welcome new member of all ages from 18+. A commitment of about 6 hours a year really is all that is needed to help with this vital part of keeping the hall running and available for all.
